Brown Girls Grieve – Upcoming Grief Cohorts

Grief is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why we’ve created multiple cohort experiences to meet you right where you are. Whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, grieving a major life change, or struggling to find hope in a difficult season, our Winter 2025 grief cohorts offer compassionate guidance, culturally affirming support, and community care over a 14-week journey. Explore the offerings below to find the space that speaks to your current season. Seats are limited. Sessions start November 17th.

Growing in Grace -
Loss of a Person or Your Person

This 14-week cohort is for women navigating the deep and often life-altering grief of losing a loved one-whether it was a family member, spouse, partner, or your person. In this supportive and culturally affirming space, you will find  understanding, comfort, and tools to help you grow in grace through your grief. Together, we will honor your loss, share stories, explore healthy coping strategies, and build a path toward healing without rushing or dismissing your emotions.

The Loss of Something Important to You

Loss is not always about death. This cohort is designed for women grieving significant life changes such as the end of a relationship, the loss of a career, a shift in health, or the closing of a chapter that held deep meaning. Over 14 weeks, we will unpack the unique challenges of non-death losses, learn to validate our experiences, and discover ways to rebuild identity and purpose while honoring what once was.

The Loss of Hope - Help, I'm Stuck

Sometimes grief comes in the form of lost dreams, stalled progress, or the painful feeling of being trapped in a season of uncertainty. This cohort offers a safe and supportive place to confront that stuck feeling, understand its roots, and begin reclaiming hope. Across 14 weeks, you'll receive tools, emotional support, and encouragement to reimagine your life and move forward with renewed clarity and resilience.

The Winter 2025 Cohort begins November 17th.
